Lincoln is gearing up for Bullying Awareness Week. The goal of the week is to involve students in activities designed to educate and change their perspectives about forms of bullying. The week will include a school wide video and reflection, creating a bullying quilt, a “IF you really knew me…” wall, class assemblies, Mix it Up Thursday, and Black out Friday. The drama team will present monologues and skits that encourage critical thinking throughout the week.

National speaker, Jim Jelinske will be presenting information on understanding bullying behaviors, empowering bystanders, and developing a consistent definition and response. Come learn about cyber bullying and the effect it has on its victims. Jim Jelinske will address what to do if your child is a target or exhibiting bullying behaviors.
