Lincoln now has a Quality Pre-Apprenticeship Program

The Office of Apprenticeship is pleased to announce Lincoln High School located in Des Moines, IA has a recognized Quality Pre-apprenticeship program.

This opportunity allows students to participate using Nationally ANSI certified ACE Accredited curriculum established by the National Laborers Training & Education Fund during high school beginning in their sophomore year.  During their junior and senior year of high school they can accumulate 120 classroom hours towards the Laborers apprenticeship program upon completion of high school (direct entry). During these two years, the students will have the opportunity to earn 5 college credits and their OSHA 10 card as well as focusing on commercial construction process.  Students will be working with experienced professional in the field as well as representatives of local contractors and local apprenticeship programs.
