Students from Lincoln High school Pre Apprentice Construction class were invited by the Masonry Institute of Iowa to attend the Iowa State field trip to the Glen Gery¬†brick plant in Redfield, Iowa. RAILS Leadership is accomplishing their mission statement of providing service to the community. These 33 9th graders played games and engaged in conversation with the residents of Genesis Living Center. Both students and residents have enjoyed the experience and the RAILS Leaders will be returning again soon.

On Saturday, October 21, thousands of students across the state auditioned for a spot in the All State Chorus, Band, and Orchestra, reserved for the top 10% of student musicians. Congratulations to the Lincoln Rails on winning their first-ever conference crown, marking a major highlight for the team’s 50th season! The East, Hoover, Lincoln, North, Ottumwa and Roosevelt girls’ swim teams competed in the natatorium at North High School for the CIML Metro Conference Championship. Hey southside elementary students! Come to the Round House from 5:30PM-7:30PM and join the fun! Kids can jump on the giant inflatables, have their face painted, and participate in 20 different hands-on activities… for free! Put on your costume and join the fun!
