I graduated from Lincoln High School (and bleed maroon and gold). I attended Simpson College where I majored in English. Currently, I teach English III and IV. Outside of school, I enjoy baseball, photography, and spending time with family. GO YANKEES! GO HAWKS! GO RAILS!
Hello! I am a transplant from Michigan. In my two decades of education, I have taught in Michigan, California, and Iowa. My partner, a 25 year Army Veteran, and I landed here on his last stop in his career and decided to plant some roots. I graduated from Siena Heights University, in Adrian, Michigan, with an undergraduate degree in English Language Arts and a master’s degree in Secondary Education. While teaching in Oakland, California, I became passionate about Trauma Informed Curriculum and Practices which lead me to another master’s from Concordia University of Portland on the subject. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy baking, reading, working out, and being on the water.
Hello! My name is Michael Williams and I am incredibly happy to teach at Lincoln! I am a proud UNI Panther alum! I am not new to the area as I grew up in Des Moines and am a product of the Des Moines Public Schools! I have been involved in theatre since middle school and love the creativity that it fosters! Go Rails!
