Originally from Gillette, Wyoming, Brandon Record joined the Railsplitters in the Fall of 2022 after teaching at Hiatt Middle School for 2 years. He went to the University of Sioux Falls and received a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education and Voice Performance. At Lincoln, he directs 6 choirs including Chamber Choir, Lincoln Voices Gospel Choir, Jazz Choir, Infinity Show Choir, Treble Choir, and Bass Choir, and teaches lessons. Outside of school, he directs community choirs and musicals at the Des Moines Playhouse. He loves to be outside, to travel, and spend time with his friends, family, and his dogs!

Hello! My name is Michael Williams and I am incredibly happy to teach at Lincoln! I am a proud UNI Panther alum! I am not new to the area as I grew up in Des Moines and am a product of the Des Moines Public Schools! I have been involved in theatre since middle school and love the creativity that it fosters!
