Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded TRIO program that encourages students to graduate from high school and enroll in post-secondary education.
Students meet with ETS coordinators in group sessions and individually throughout the school year. Monthly workshops are also offered focusing on success in high school, career awareness, college selection and financial assistance. Special events also give students the chance to gain leadership skills, learn more about various careers and visit college campuses.
Lincoln’s ETS program is based out of Central College with their office in Pella, Iowa. The Central College ETS program serves students from 13 schools across three counties (Mahaska, Polk and Wapello).
To learn more about the Educational Talent Search program and its services, view their website or contact Lincoln’s ETS coordinator, Ryan Roy. If your student is interested in applying for the program, contact their guidance counselor.
