Lincoln Show Choir Competition Results

Congratulations to Lincoln’s Infinity Show Choir for their amazing performance this past weekend at Emmetsburg’s competition to end their season. Infinity competed in two classes: 4A and Overall. Infinity won third place in class 4A, narrowly beating Southeast Polk but coming under Ankeny and Valley. Infinity won third runner-up in the Overall competition. Lincoln’s Infinity Show Choir is directed by Christian White. We will have auditions for the group this May and are looking forward to improving for next year’s competition season.

Congratulations to Lincoln’s Jazz Choir – the Southside Singers – for their amazing performance this past weekend, also at Emmetsburg’s competition, to end their season. Southside Singers is directed by Jimmy Deignan. Lincoln Junior Lorena Escobar won best soloist for her performance in the group. This is Lorena’s third personal award this year: Best Performer (Ralston Show Choir Competition), Best Soloist (Indianola Show Choir Competition), and Best Soloist (Emmetsburg’s Jazz Competition).
