Are You 17 1/2 Years Old? Become a Voter!

One of the missions of DMPS is to educate students who “understand the rights and obligations of citizenship.” And one of those rights is becoming a voter, a right available to many high school students. To register to vote in Iowa you must (a) be at least 17 1/2 years old, (b) be a U.S. citizen, and (c) be a resident of Iowa.
