Pennies for Patients
The 9th RAILS Academy student council held a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society during the month of February called “Pennies for Patients.” The students were asked to donate loose change during their RAILS Time. The school goal was $1200. The students well surpassed their goal, for a total donation of $1634.57. As a result, eligible students will be able to attend a free game/movie period. The top two donating advisories received a pizza party and ice cream party. Those advisories were Mrs. Lieber and Mr. Schlicher. Congratulations to the RAILS Academy for showing their school spirit and south-side pride for a second year.
