Art Seminar Creates Star Wars Couture
Advanced art students at Lincoln Rails were invited to participate in a week long MTSS seminar. MIchael Lane, the Studio Programs Community Coordinator at the Art Center, visited and challenged the students to create Star Wars couture out of random objects like popcorn foil bags, cds, duct tape, and paper (see attachments). On Wednesday, students learned about creating a portfolio of their art work. A panel of local artists visited on Thursday to talk with students about the road they took to become artists and on Friday students’ culminating activity was an Art Task Party.
