AVID Students Visit Drake University

Several seniors attended Drake University’s Health Professions Day on September 26.  The open house introduced Drake programs to students interested in a career in health care.  The academic programs featured were Doctor of Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and all Natural Sciences  programs.  The students had the opportunity to interact with faculty and current students through academic breakout sessions, interactive labs in each field of study, student and alumni panels, an admissions presentation, a campus tour, and of course lunch on campus.
