Lincoln High came together Friday to pay tribute to Antonio Sanchez-Peck, a 16-year old sophomore who died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing SW 9th Street. Classmates, family friends and neighbors held a candlelight vigil. Many people wore blue, Antonio’s favorite color, or brought blue balloons and flowers. Principal Williamson notified families of the tragic accident and urged everyone to “please take care of one another.” Click the photo to see more of the vigil.

Congratulations to Lincoln’s Infinity Show Choir for their amazing performance this past weekend at Emmetsburg’s competition to end their season. Infinity competed in two classes: 4A and Overall. Lincoln High and Roosevelt High combine forces to field a hockey team that competes in the Metro High School Hockey League. This year the Lincoln/ Roosevelt team won the league tournament! Pictured are two Lincoln students, Connor Kane & Noah Christiansen. CONGRATS!
