9th Grade Orientation

Orientation for the Lincoln HS Class of 2021 is on Monday, August 21st or Tuesday, August 22nd at the Lincoln Rails Academy located at 1000 Porter Ave. Invitations were sent home stating the assigned date for each student. If you do not know to which date your student is assigned, please email our Community in Schools Coordinator, Cara Edmondson at cara.edmondson@dmschools.org. Orientation is from 8:00 AM – Noon and will be a morning filled with fun activities to introduce students to their new classmates and see all that LHS has to offer. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and pack light! Lunch will be provided.

Transportation is available from and returning to Weeks, McCombs, and Brody Middle Schools. For questions or to reserve your child’s seat on the bus, call 515-242-8452 by August 15th.

This is a student only event, so we encourage you to let your child attend on their own. However, we welcome parents and families to the Rails Academy Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, August 22nd at 6:00 pm where you can pick up your student’s schedule and meet your student’s teachers. We look forward to meeting you!
